Please compile an exhaustive list of sources regarding net neutrality up until June 2017

A review of online sources for information on net neutrality published prior to June 2017 produced 42 results of varied content sources and years spanning from 2003 to 2017. For each source, I’ve listed the date of publication, title, 1-2 descriptive sentences, and a link. All the information is held within the attached spreadsheet.

FINDINGS

A brief analysis of the data revealed that there seemed to be date-specific periods of intensified reporting of net neutrality as a topic. As current events have increased the discussion in 2017, it also looks like net neutrality was heavily discussed in 2014 for, perhaps, the same reasons. Archived sources referred to it as “network neutrality.” A review of many of the sources reveal that most published entities—from Hollywood stars, to organizations, to universities, to authors and the general public— do not want net neutrality to be controlled by cable companies. There were few sources that treated the issue objectively (i.e., without picking a side).

CONCLUSION

To sum up, net neutrality is a complicated and intense issue with a plethora of sources (mostly in support of net neutrality) voicing outrage and encouraging protests. For a full listing of the articles and sources, please review the attached spreadsheet.
