Large Cancer Networks - US
Our researchers identified 19 large networks or providers. Name and website information for these providers has been entered in the attached spreadsheet, and a brief overview is below.
MULTI-STATE PROVIDERS
We were able to identify several large cancer networks with locations across the United States and internationally. These include HCA, operating in 20 states; the Texas-based MD Anderson network, with clinics in 16 states and 3 countries; Kaiser Permanente, serving patients in 9 states; Cancer Treatment Centers of America, in 5 states; Mayo Clinic, which operates in 3 states; Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and New Jersey; and Ascension, in Wisconsin and Michigan.
OTHER MULTI-STATE NETWORKS
We identified three third-party alliances that may be of interest, the National Cancer Institute's Designated Cancer Center listing, the US Oncology Network, and the Lung Cancer Alliance.
LARGE NETWORKS AND CENTERS IN FLORIDA
Some larger cancer networks operating in Florida maintain many locations within the state. We identified Mt. Sinai Comprehensive Cancer Center, Florida Cancer Specialists, the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in this category. Additionally, the Lynn Cancer Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital serves many patients at fewer locations, and may meet the criteria of 100 or more infusion chairs.
NETWORKS WITH MANY LOCATIONS IN ANOTHER SINGLE STATE
Several larger providers operate only in one state. These include Duke Health in North Carolina, Massachusetts General Hospital's Cancer Center, the Abramson Cancer Center in Pennsylvania, and Fox Chase Cancer Center, also in Pennsylvania.
