RESEARCH STRATEGY
In providing trends in the industrial filtration market in Europe, we found little information specific to replacement/aftermarket filters alone. However, once we identified that government regulations regarding sustainability and the emission of greenhouse gases were driving the replacement frequency of filters, we expanded our research to all industrial filters to provide more insights. Similarly, we identified digitization as the primary reason for the growth of the automotive aftermarket (which includes fluid and air filters) in Europe and expanded to all industrial filters.
